artist statement
I would describe the process of creating my art as being a cathartic exercise, with layers of my personality being revealed. My work as a whole is open to all interpretation. Aesthetic elements present, regardless of the medium are layering and texture.
Because great emphasis is placed upon open communication when making design work, my approach to creating visual art is more expressive and flexible. I find that my mind is jumbled full of ideas, moving at a creative pace faster than my hands are physically capable.
